Gateway Bronco's LUX-GT Electric Bronco at SEMA 2021

Gateway Bronco's LUX-GT Electric Bronco at SEMA 2021

On display at the Legacy EV booth at SEMA 2021 was the LUXE-GT Electric Bronco from Gateway Bronco, a company known for its high-end restorations of classic Ford Broncos.

Although this '72 retains the classic look of the original Bronco, under the hood the Luxe-GT is powered by a 400 horsepower Legacy EV drivetrain. With 980 lb-ft of torque, the Luxe-GT can reach 60 mph in just 4.7 seconds and has a driving range of up to 300 miles on a single charge.

Gateway Bronco has completely reengineered the underpinnings to handle the increased power of the electric drivetrain. Starting with a fully linked Kincer chassis, the company has upgraded the vehicle's suspension, brakes, and steering to provide a smoother, more responsive ride. Personally, my favorite part of the build are the 18" CNC machined aluminum wheels designed to look like a classic Bronco hubcap.

Inside, the Luxe-GT sports a custom leather interior with high back bucket seats, power windows, and air conditioning. The vehicle's touchscreen display provides access to a variety of features, including navigation, vehicle diagnostics, and Apple CarPlay.

The Luxe-GT is a limited-edition vehicle, with only a small number of units planned for production. However, Gateway Bronco offers a range of customizations for the vehicle, allowing buyers to tailor the Luxe-GT to their exact specifications. This particular build can be yours for the low, low price of $380,000.00!
