Broncos at SEMA 2021
At the Ford booth at the SEMA Show this last week, the Ford Bronco was prominently displayed, showcasing the versatility and customization potential of the iconic off-road SUV. Ford had a range of custom Broncos on display, including several built in partnership with aftermarket companies, as well as a number of concept vehicles that showcased the potential of the new platform.
One of the standout builds was the Bronco show above by was a collaboration between RTR Vehicles and the Fun-Haver Off-Road Team of Vaughn Gotten Jr. and Loren Healy. The Bronco RTR "Fun-Runner" featured several newly developed parts soon to be available from RTR. Riding on monster 37 inch Nitto Tire Trail Grapplers, the Fun-Runner sported an RTR grille with integrated LED lighting, RTR bumpers and rock rails, and wide body fenders.
Another notable Bronco at the Ford booth was a build by Tucci Hot Rods, which was designed to tackle the toughest off-road trails. This Bronco featured Mattracks 88 Series tracks and removable body panels to transform the Bronco from street to "Summit" spec in only a few minutes.
The vehicle was also equipped with a custom vehicle wrap and a range of other performance upgrades, making it a true powerhouse on the trail.
In addition to these builds, Ford also had several of its own custom Broncos on display, including several concept vehicles that showcased the potential of the new platform. These concepts ranged from mild to wild, with some featuring simple cosmetic modifications and others showcasing aggressive off-road capabilities.
Created by Ford Vehicle Personalization & Ford Performance Parts the Ford Outfitters "Off-Road Wheeling and Beyond" Bronco was an eye-catcher that featured many parts from the Ford Accessories parts bin, as well as a number of aftermarket components (you'll also notice those tubular doors that Ford hasn't said if they are releasing).
The understated 2021 Bronco "Baja Forged" by LGE-CTS Motorsports featured several tastefully done modifications. It's got an Icon Vehicle Dynamics lift kit, Baja Forged bumpers and fender flares and new wheels and tires.
Ford booth also featured a custom Ford Bronco built by BDS Suspension as the ultimate off-road fire truck. Dubbed the "Fire Command", this Bronco is a unique build designed to showcase the capabilities of the Ford Bronco as a first responder vehicle.
The custom Bronco featured a host of modifications and upgrades, including a BDS Suspension lift kit, custom wheels and tires, and a range of performance upgrades, as well as a custom light bar, a public address system, and a range of other emergency response features.
