What's New for the 2023 Ford Bronco: A Closer Look at the Changes

Ford has made some minor changes to the 2023 Bronco model year, including new exterior color options and a few changes to the available tops for certain trims. Most notably, two new Heritage Editions will be added to the lineup, based on the Big Bend and Badlands trims, respectively. Here's a closer look at the changes:

Model Lineup/Equipment Groups:

Two new Heritage Editions will be added to the Bronco lineup for 2023, based on the Big Bend and Badlands trims. These limited edition models will feature unique exterior and interior styling cues, as well as some exclusive features. Other than "late availability," no other word from Ford on when these the Heritage models will be available.

Packages:

There will be no changes to the available packages for the 2023 Bronco model year.

Performance and Capability:

Ford has not made any changes to the performance or capability of the 2023 Bronco, meaning it will still offer the same impressive off-road capabilities and powerful engine options as the 2022 model year.

Exterior:

For 2023, Ford has added three new exterior color options for the Bronco: Azure Gray Metallic Tri-coat, Robin's Egg Blue (Heritage Limited Edition), and Yellowstone (Heritage Limited Edition). Additionally, two colors from the 2022 model year, Desert Sand and Cyber Orange Metallic Tri-coat, will be removed from the available color options.

Ford has also made some changes to the available tops for certain trims. The new Heritage Edition and Heritage Limited Edition will come standard with a modular hardtop in Oxford White-painted, while the Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Badlands, and Wildtrak trims will have the option for a Shadow Black-painted hardtop. There will also be an option to order dual tops: a modular Oxford White-painted hardtop and black soft top for the Heritage models and a Shadow Black-painted hardtop and black soft top for Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Badlands and Wildtrak 4 door models only.

Interior:

The only change to the interior of the 2023 Bronco is that the Hardtop sound-deadening headliner will no longer be included with the Carbonized Gray molded-in-color Hard Top.

Technology:

There will be no changes to the available technology features for the 2023 Bronco.

Safety and Security:

The 2023 Bronco will have the same safety and security features as the 2022 model year, with no changes made.
